How the God of the Bible is Guilty of Betrayal
In his quest to display his prowess at performing miracles, Yahweh goes as far as invading people's free will. This is demonstrated in the book of Exodus 10:1, which tells of how God sends Moses to Pharaoh and his officials whose hearts he had already hardened so that he could perform miraculous signs, supposedly to impress them. We therefore don't know what actions the Pharaoh would have taken concerning Moses's plea because Yahweh was manipulating his mind, and thus his decision. It is clear that he was forced into being stubborn.
Romans 5:13 talks about judgement before the law was given. It states that those who committed sin before the law was given could not be charged for their mistakes. It says, "To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone's account where there is no law". This contradicts the fact that Adam and Eve were punished before the law came to be. The world was drowned too before the law.
Romans 9:17 is another case of deceit and megalomania on Yahweh's part. Brazenly, it says that God brought the Pharaoh into he world for the specific reason of displaying his (God's) powers. He brought him into existence in order for his name to be proclaimed all over the earth. It's obvious that it was not Pharaoh's will to play that part. He trod that path with God as the puppeteer. This equals deceit at it's worst.
In another instance God gives people rules that are not good and which they cannot live by,he lets them sacrifice their fist borns to fill them with horror so that they could know that he is the Lord. He deliberately sets a trap for them in such a sadistic way so that his saddening plans would materialize.Ezekiel 20:25.
Adam and Eve were betrayed too. Thy were not equipped with the knowledge of good and evil and thus could not identify whether eating the apple would be good or evil. How were they even supposed to know that it would be bad to disobey God if they lacked the ability to know good and evil? How were they supposed to know that the snake was lying when they were unfamiliar with what lying was and even establishing that lying was bad?
