Cesare Borgia as Jesus Christ

Cesare Borgia was one of the illegitimate sons of a pope called Alexander V1,he was trained in the church and eventually became the archbishop in his teenage years. He was a tyrannical man. Valiant, fearless and merciless, he ruled with a heavy hand. He was the modern day slay king, but very power hungry.  He was deceitful and very randy, sleeping with many women and engaging in shady deals. It is even suspected that he had sexual escapades with his own sister Lucrezia. He was considered the most handsome  man in Italy and he seemed to know it as he wore the most fashionable clothes. He got syphilis at a youthful age of 20 years.

Borgia employed Leonardo Da Vinci as his engineer and military architect. The two had a sexual relationship and Da Vinci, having an artistic soul painted Borgia many times. His handsome face from the paintings was used for centuries as an inspiration to represent Jesus Christ. Christians worshipped and adored his image for a long time. History has recorded that many people faced death for not worshiping the image of the white Jesus with blond hair. Rome and Spain sent out soldiers to capture Negroes, Hebrews and Indians and force them into Christianity.

Altobello Melone had his painting of Jesus done in the year 1520, he took his inspiration from the earlier portraits of Borgia. He only distorted his skin color to a lighter tone and the texture of his hair to wavy. Since then this image of Cesare Borgia is being used in churches all over the world.
