Easy Ways To Make Your Congregants Give You Plenty of Money
As a pastor, one knows that the sole purpose and motivation of one's preaching is to bring people to Christ Jesus/God. To change their hearts and believe in the son of God who died for their sins. This can be easily achieved but the nagging issue is, where will you get a mansion and a Ferrari if you just touch their hearts and not their pockets? There is nothing for nothing in this capitalist world so you have to take advantage of pliable minds, the minds of people who want to live lives of prosperity and later on go to paradise. Here is what to do;
Remind them that Jesus was an example of excellence. He wore high quality garments which the soldiers at the cross scrambled over. He enjoyed visiting rich places where he would eat good food, i.e , he visited Zachaeus the tax collector who had obviously amassed great wealth from his shady deals. He also made friendship with Mary Magdalene, a woman of stature. Cite as many examples as possible.
Remind them that you are the gateway to their blessings. Convince them that God had spoken to you to set up a church among them, that you were selected to guide them into prosperity and salvation. Cite examples in the bible where offerings and financial support were given to Jesus and his ministry. Alert them that it is their prerogative to support you so that blessings may pour on them. Point out to them clearly that it is impossible for them to own mansions, Ferraris and jacuzzis if their pastor has not owned them.
Tell them that the altar (the one in your church), needs to be honored. That even you yourself honor the altar, that the altar is not yours but God's. Demonstrate to them the kind of blessings that come come their way if they sacrifice with their whole hearts to the altar. Cite examples of people in your congregation who have risen financially as a result of sacrificing to the altar. Of course you would have held discussions with the people so that they can play their part (they have to be your confidants). Stress that they have to give till it pains so blessings can flow like river Jordan.
