Do Not Have Sex with Someone You Dont Recognize

 It happened that Jacob the younger son of Isaac fell in love with Rachael, the one with sparkly eyes and a beautiful figure. She was the daughter of Laban, Jacob's uncle and sister to Leah, the one with the tired eyes and no curves on her thighs. He was so in love with her that he was willing to serve Laban for a staggering 7 years to be with her. After he had labored for 7 years, Laban waits for the dark to creep in, then he shoves Leah into his room. We don't know if Leah had reservations about it but she agreed to go in that dark room  (degrading of women is at play here).

The bible goes on to tell us that Jacob had sex with her, and it was in the morning that it dawned upon him that he had slept with Leah instead of Rachael. Did he even take the time to talk to the woman he slept with? was there not even a single word exchanged between the two before they "knew each other"? or even after? It is a puzzle how Jacob could not figure out who he had slept with until morning.

Judah who was Jacob's son did a similarly dumb thing, he slept with the wife of his son after mistaking her for a harlot. Apparently, Tamar, (her daughter in law had covered herself with a veil and one could not see her face). The two spoke to each other but the half witted oversexed Judah could not recognize the voice of his daughter in law. It was later on when he had to pay for the service that he realized that he had committed incest.

Why are Atheists Always So Angry?

   Atheists have been long been misunderstood as bitter people. People who went through bitter experiences and are now channeling their anger to "God". We have been told about our mental health being in a poor state. We have been called lost and misguided. These words are by no means polite, they are pretty much accusatory, of ignorance and weakness on our part. Strangely enough, believers don't understand why such comments would put us off. In fact, believers expect atheists to respect every bible verse that springs out of their mouth, they expect atheists to cow when they threaten them with doom, curses and hellfire, to take their words so seriously. Kina the TV series and it's portrayal of atheism

   It is heartbreaking that most religious people have the idea that atheism is the symbolism of evil. Most have the tendency to think that atheist minds are under the influence of the lord of the underworld, namely , 'Satan'. It is expected that a non believer of religion  has no conscience to steer him or her away from evil, and that the ability to do good comes from a god. This is quite wrong since we all know that animals such as dogs and elephants have demonstrated acts of kindness despite them not being followers of any religion. That aside, I got a few chances to watch Kina the Kenyan TV series and wasn't much shocked to find out that Nana, the villain in the story is an atheist. In one of the episodes, she opens up about not believing in God. This is quite good evidence that atheism is equated to evil here in Kenya.
