Favoritism in the Bible

Christianity is not for Africans, we are just like a child who holds on to the hand of the wrong mother, and she is not going to lead us in the right direction. Many African s don't even know the history of the bible. But reading the bible itself will plainly show us that the bible was not made for us but for the children of Israel. God of the bible calls Israel the apple of his eye, read Zechariah 2;8-9. Little wonder that the bible shows the children of Israel going to war, and being given victory or guidance when they go to war.

In Leviticus 15:44, God tells Israelites that they should buy slaves from the foreigners who lived among them. This is detestable favoritism. God does not want the Israelites to buy their brothers as slaves but to get them (the slaves) from other nations, this means God had belittled and looked down upon people from other nations apart from Israel. Slaves were supposed to be obedient towards their masters, whether their masters were good or not. They were battered, and seeing this, Yahweh had to make laws guiding on how to do it. We as Africans have a shattering past of slavery, we were sold and enslaved for decades. Such information from the bible should make us shun it. Owning a slave is retrogressive and rottenness of the heart.

In Matthew 10:5, We see Jesus give instructions to the 12 disciples. That they should not go to the Gentiles and the Samaritans to preach but instead go to Israel. In Israel they were to pass on the good news and do miracles like healing the sick. God wanted the Israelites to have the upper hand by having knowledge before others. Apologists may claim that Israel was more sinful than the other nations, but we dont have that quoted in the bible.

We Africans are not on the same level as the Israelites according to the bible. We are not equally God's children. we are just "hanger ons" who were "lucky"enough  to hear the gospels. We are not the apple of God's eye but afterthoughts.
