Adam and Eve Were Innocent

The story of Adam and Eve has been a big baffle to me. Adam was the first to be created, God gives Adam the instruction not to eat from the tree in the middle of the garden, Eve wasn't even there so she did not have the opportunity to hear the instructions, go figure. God made the two of them innocent, incapable of knowing good from evil. God then creates a situation where they are required to employ the knowledge of good and evil. Does that make sense at all?

It seems to me that God had predestined for them to fail. He created them being innocent so that they could not be able to make the right choice. It also baffles me why God had to place the tree and the snake in the garden. If he was a loving and caring God, he would have removed the tree and the snake from the garden since they posed huge danger to his beloved creation, a danger that would separate him from them. I remember when my daughter was young. She had started crawling and could not tell there were many dangers in her environment. Dangers such as falling, burning or injuring oneself with sharp objects. She simple did not know what danger was.

Being that I love my daughter so dearly, I had to clear away every dangerous things like knives, hot water, burning candles etc. I would also supervise a lot when I had to light a candle or cook around her. See, a loving person would not put you at risk. They would do all they could to protect you!
